Responsibilities:
oDesign, implement, and manage security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption mechanisms to ensure the organization's networks and systems remain secureoLead regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applicationsoCreate and implement incident response plans to effectively address security breachesoWork across teams to establish and enforce security policies, standards, and proceduresoMonitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to detect potential security incidentsoProvide analysis and investigations into anomalies and security breachesoWork across IT, Development, and Compliance teams to integrate security into all phases of the SDLCoMaintain thorough and accurate documentation of security processes, procedures, and configurationsoPrepare detailed reports on security findings, incidents, and actions takenRequired
Qualifications:
oActive TS/SCI clearance with CI poly oBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related fieldoCISSP or equivalent certification meeting DoD 8140 requirements oA minimum of 10 years' experience as a cybersecurity engineer, specializing in design and implementation of required security controls oExperience tracking compliance through implementing continuous monitoring and auditing of security solutionsoIn-depth skills specifying and implementing log collection into Splunk, and providing analysis of aggregated logs to identify anomalies and/or risks oProven experience implementing security controls from government regulatory frameworks and security standards (e.
g.
, NIST SP 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP)oProven experience implementing controls for cloud, container, and DevSecOps services and solutions on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICSoStrong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and infrastructure componentsoExpert proficiency in incident response, security incident handling, and forensic analysis techniquesoExpertise with security tools such as Fortify, Acunetix, and Prisma Cloud oEffective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
