DEPUTY CORONER I The Washington County Coroner's office is seeking to hire a FT Deputy Coroner I to perform both field investigations and general secretarial duties.
The candidate will be required to respond to death scenes throughout Washington County 24/7 while on call and may be required to work extended hours at any time due to the nature of the position.
Previous law enforcement experience is helpful.
Strong report writing, computer and inter-personal skills required.
Candidates will work under the direction of the Coroner and will communicate with law enforcement, EMS and families of the deceased on a frequent basis.
