ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR The Washington County Finance Department is seeking to hire a FT Assistant Finance Director to assist the Finance Director to prepare and monitor the County's annual budget, to prepare fiscal reports for State and Federal programs, to manage all the banking relationships and debt, including bond issues and to invest the County's funds.
A Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration or related field of study is required along with prior experience in accounting or closely related experience.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and Federal, State and County laws and regulations governing County fiscal operations.
Must have strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate data to reach a conclusion.
Computer skills are necessary.
Salary range up to - $70,000.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
