IT Audit Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking an IT Audit Manager for a nationally recognized organization based in Washington, DC.
This role is hybrid out of their headquarters.
Responsibilities for the IT Audit Manager:
Plan, lead, manage, and execute risk-based operational, financial, regulatory, and governance audits and risk and control advisory projects.
Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate top risks and provide direction to co-sourced subject matter experts and staff.
Conduct training and education sessions on emerging risks for the department, organization, and board audit committees.
Serve as an operational liaison across the organization's portfolio of companies to manage and mitigate risks consistently.
Communicate audit details and risks effectively to various stakeholders, including audit teams, risk managers, executives, board members, and business owners.
Stay updated on current and emerging operational, financial, and regulatory risks, assessing their relevance to the organization and implementing necessary preparations.
Collaborate with other personnel to identify and implement risk management or process improvement opportunities.
Evaluate organization strategy and major initiatives for risk assessment and inclusion in the audit plan.
Qualifications for the IT Audit Manager Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of IS audit experience or a combination of 8 years of audit, risk management, and IS experience, including risk assessments, advisory work, control design and evaluation, enterprise control frameworks, and collaboration with stakeholders for risk mitigation.
Experience with on-premises infrastructure, cloud computing, automation, cloud-based CRM systems like Salesforce, and technology supporting virtual work environments.
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as blockchain, crypto, digital assets, or artificial intelligence.
Knowledge of IT risk frameworks and best practices, such as Center for Internet Security (CIS), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and/or Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT).
Proficiency in data analytics and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.
).
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both IT and business stakeholders.
Experience supporting financial and operational projects from an Information Systems perspective, including process reviews, benchmarking, and research.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly flowcharting, databases, and spreadsheets.
CISA or other IT certifications are required.
Preferred certifications:
CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or CDPSE.
Experience with CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, is preferred.
Ability to work as an individual contributor while collaborating with organizational resources to drive change.
Demonstrated success in delivering business value through relationship building and collaborative solution development.
Experience interacting with and presenting to senior management, boards, and executive personnel.
Ability to develop creative approaches and solutions to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple project assignments and matrixed teams simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, demonstrating ownership and accountability to deliver on commitments.
Compensation for the IT Audit Manager:
$130,000 - $160,000 commensurate with experience Benefits including Holiday, PTO, 401k, Pension, Health, Vision, Dental Recommended Skills Accounting Information Systems Artificial Intelligence Auditing Automation Benchmarking Blockchain Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
