The MSS consults with the members to:
Provide expertise in more complex products such as individual and business account openings, trust accounts, POA accounts, and IRA's Setup of electronic services, electronic funds transfers, mobile banking, and bill pay Counsels about services, responds to problems, and performs maintenance Supports the frontline operations by processing member transactions and maintaining a cash drawer May counsel with members on consumer loans, reviewing product options, assisting borrowers with applications, or closing loan.
Assists with understanding of legal requirements or paperwork The MSS is a point of contact for members in person and with phone consultations.
Therefore, the MSS must demonstrate a genuine interest in helping members, the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in difficult situations, and must possess strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED.
Employment requires a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact.
Physical Requirements:
Long periods of standing and sitting.
Ability to lift up to 50-pounds.
Generally an office environment.
May be required to travel to other branch locations, community partner offices, or another location for training or meetings.
