Summary:
We are seeking a warehouse manager to oversee operations, manage workers, processes and inventory.
The warehouse manager will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, stored, and dispatched according to schedule and quality standards.
The warehouse manager is a vital role within our organization, with multiple responsibilities to complete efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Audit and report inventory levels.
Make recommendations on which items to order and restock.
Team Supervision:
Manage warehouse associates.
Monitor their work and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment.
Process Optimization:
Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficiency.
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor workplace performance.
Lead training initiatives to improve employee skills.
Safety Compliance:
Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards within the warehouse.
Cross-Departmental Communication:
Communicate with other departments to ensure timely shipment of products.
Communicate with the customer and vendors about material and tooling.
Qualifications Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Mechanical aptitude.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
Ability to work well with a diverse team.
A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
MUST have experience with natural gas distribution and materials associated.
