2K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago The Certified Central Services Technician (CCST) assists the professional staff in the provision of patient care and High-Level disinfection, decontamination and sterilization of supplies and equipment used in patient care.
The position also controls and issues items used for patient care from the Central Supply Department.
Responsibilities:
Accountable and responsible for the completion of the Washington Health System Core Non-Certified Central Services Technician Skills & Responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Central Services Manager according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System, specifically through the provision of needed patient care supplies and patient care.
Accurately reports information to the manager and other members of the Nursing Department, and other departments involved in the supply chain team.
Completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Non-Certified Central Services Technician Skills & Responsibilities.
Successful completion of Non-Certified Central Services Technician program presented by Education Institute within ninety (90) days of hire.
Must complete the certification for Sterile Processing Technician by testing for the program after twelve (12) months in the role and completing the program/certification within six (6) months from starting the program.
Shift:
Training for different skill-sets occur on different shifts, therefore the successful bidder will be trained Monday - Friday 5:
30am-2pm, 6:
30a-3:
00p, 9a-5:
30p, 10:
30am-7pm, 12pm-3pm, 2:
30p-11p shifts until competence is established.
Once competence is established, the successful bidder will be scheduled 5:
30a-2p, 12pm-8:
30pm Monday-Friday and Rotating Weekends and Holidays 6:
30a-3p.
