The Washington County Department of Public Safety currently has an opening for the FT Deputy Director of 911. This position plans, coordinates, and oversees all aspects of the County's 911 Telecommunications Center, makes decisions and provides direction in day-to-day operations and in times of emergency for a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP); also serves as County 911 Coordinator.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or specialized courses/training equivalent to satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college in a management related field. Requires ten (10) years of experience in Emergency Management, Public Safety communications, Emergency Services administration, or related field. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of, and appropriate certifications in Emergency Management and Public Safety communications. Must be knowledgeable of the laws, rules, ordinances and agencies related to Emergency Management and Public Safety communications. Computer skills and technical knowledge is necessary.
Salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
