Job Description:
Position Purpose / Scope:
Serves as in-house graphic designer with projects that include, but not limited to collateral materials, newsletters, flyers, posters, window display graphics, and alternative media.

Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License, level N
Required to have the Pennsylvania Gaming License on at all times while at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
Project and personnel management as related to specially assigned or job related projects.
Responsible for contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall job or creative brief.
Responsible for ensuring property and departments follow brand standards guidelines.
Conceptualize creative ideas and present drafts and mock-ups for presentation and review to internal and/or external clients.
Ship all final files to vendor; ensuring art files have all necessary content such as fonts, bleeds, links and other elements.
Act as main contact to vendor for production related inquiries.
Choose/recommend appropriate production materials.
Install digital, audio, video and physical collateral throughout property, including, but not limited to, end caps, duratrans, tri-signs, counter signs, sandwich boards, 3D signs, TVs, overhead, marquee, etc.
Responsible for updating/assisting various aspects of our online presence including, but not limited to, websites, intranet sites, social media, mobile and smart phone applications.
Skill, knowledge and utilization of electronic methods, software and equipment for creating designs for various medium.
Coordinates with internal and external resources to assign tasks, follow up on deadlines, etc.
Completes technical adjustments on projects for final production.
Responsible for graphic design, execution and/or support of our online presence including, but not limited to, websites, intranet sites, social media, mobile and smart phone applications.
Assists with ordering, receiving and distributing casino signage, advertising collateral, printed materials and other messaging collateral to internal staff and external audiences, front and back of house.
Responsible for all forms of marketing and advertising materials, including digital, electronic, audio, video and print.
Responsible for electronic creative programming including, but not limited to, TV's, kiosk and marquee.
Ensure that all signage, billboards, advertising and collateral is updated on a regular basis, is current and accurate.
Assist all Marketing Departments as needed.
Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Ensures all company policies and procedures along with PGCB Regulations and other governing and managing policies are recognized and adhered to by self, coworkers and the company.
Reports violations of company policies and procedures as well as PGCB Regulations by self, other and company to appropriate individuals.
Recognizes and reports opportunities to secure company assets.
Job Requirements:
Essential Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Must obtain a Non-Gaming License through the PGCB
Required to have The Meadows Racetrack & Casino name badge on at all times while working.
Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and In-Design, Photo Shop and After Effects.
Well versed in web design methodologies.
Manages internal production of Advertising related projects.
Must be highly organized and provide timely information.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Ability to use a digital camera and processes involved with exporting digital photos to a computer.
Ability to manage relations with internal and external resources (i.e. vendors).
Knowledge of TV/electronics to input graphic pieces for customer viewing (USB's).
Is action oriented; pursues work with energy, drive and a need to finish.
Sets priorities and manages multiple tasks and projects.
Maintains composure in busy times and effectively uses down time.
Works well in a team setting.
Supports front of house promotional execution; maintains flexible work hours per business needs.
Has the skill set to handle complex matters and work autonomously with little supervision.
Demonstrate proficiency in operation of personal computer equipment.
Ability to effectively present information clearly and describe casino programs and promotions to customers.
Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
Has working knowledge of policy and procedures and PGCB MICS.
Design school or 2-3 years related experience.
Must be 21 years of age.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form


Essential Physical Requirements:
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distant vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift 30lbs.
Must be able to climb on step ladder.
Must be able to work in a typical casino environment.

Impact on Revenues and Profit:
This position plays a most important role toward fulfillment of marketing programs to result the revenue stream.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
