We are seeking an experienced Android mobile app developer to join our project team. Our development projects use native platforms and frameworks wherever possible to deliver a first class user experience. Our products are video media oriented and use technologies such as OpenGL, H.264 compression, video streaming via RTSP and HLS. The products also are connected to an online video sharing service, allowing users to upload and browse videos directly from the app.
Requirements
oMinimum 3 year's experience
oExpertise in native app development using Java, Dalvik and Android SDK
oExpertise with media APIs (Android Media Framework / Stagefright)
oExperience with OpenGL
oExpertise in low-level networking (TCP/UDP) as well as higher level protocols (HTTP/REST)
oMay also involve code in other languages such as C++, Python, and Objective-C
oCandidate must possess expertise with the Android platform and be conversant with developers focusing on other mobile platformsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
